Foreign Trade Blue T-Shirt in Casual Streetwear Style Review: 200g Cotton at $5.97

Published Revised

A 200g cotton crewneck with drop shoulders and a chest print, offered in six colourways and S–3XL body-weight bands. Convincing for $5.97; flat measurements and the pure white composition still need seller confirmation.

Foreign Trade Blue T-Shirt in Casual Streetwear Style Review: 200g Cotton at $5.97

We ordered the Foreign Trade blue T-shirt in casual streetwear style (SKU 7715770995) through Litbuy AI. The listed price was $5.97 USD against a $6.79 original, with availability marked as in stock, and the size we requested shipped without a substitution. This is a light, inexpensive spring and summer top, so our questions were narrow: does the 200 g cotton feel like cotton, does the chest print survive a wash, and does the loose drop-shoulder cut actually sit the way the listing describes.

How we checked it

Before the parcel left the warehouse we asked for QC images of the neck label, the chest print at close range, the hem and side-seam stitching, and a flat shot of the garment laid out square. A pair or piece is rejected when a requested angle is missing, because a missing hem shot usually hides a missing hem. Nothing was rejected here.

On arrival the tee was photographed unworn on a neutral grey card and weighed on the desk scale. Our testing team then wore it indoors and outdoors for three sessions of two hours or more, logging creasing across the chest and under the arms, print behaviour, and how the collar held its shape. After that it was washed twice at 30 °C and re-fitted for a second note on finish and dimensional change.

Fabric and construction

The listing describes a 200 g fabric of normal thickness, and in hand that reads accurate — heavier than a basic summer blank, light enough that it did not feel clammy during a warm afternoon. It is a pullover with a crew neck, short sleeves and dropped shoulders, and the fit is loose rather than fitted.

Five colourways (white 3460, black 3460, coffee 3460, blue 3460 and dark gray 3460) are listed as 100% cotton. A sixth option, pure white short sleeve, carries no composition in the catalogue data at all. We flag that rather than assume it, and it is a question worth putting to the seller if fibre content matters to you.

Print and finish

The chest graphic is a geometric letter print. Up close the print sits on the surface rather than sinking into the knit, which is normal for this price band and held up through both washes without cracking or lifting at the edges. The collar is a simple ribbed crew and kept its roundness after washing. Stitching along the hem and shoulders is straight and even in the unit we received.

Sizing and fit

Sizes run S through 3XL and are quoted as body-weight bands in jin (1 jin ≈ 0.5 kg) with a stated 3 cm tolerance, not as flat garment measurements. Converting those bands gives a rough picture:

SizeListed body-weight band (jin)Approximate equivalent (kg)
S90–11545–58
M110–13055–65
L125–15063–75
XL140–17070–85
2XL170–19585–98
3XL190–21595–108

These bands overlap, and the 3 cm tolerance means two units of the same size can differ noticeably at the chest. Because no flat chest or length figures are published, we would message the seller for measurements in centimetres before ordering rather than pick on weight alone. The drop-shoulder pattern means the shoulder seam sits well out on the arm, so the loose look is intentional rather than a sizing accident.

Shrinkage and care

We looked for buyer discussion specific to this tee and found none. The only sourced feedback we could attach to the item is category-level, about pure cotton garments generally and how heat drives shrinkage. Translated from the original discussion:

All 100% cotton garments shrink, but high temperatures make them shrink more. I prefer a medium size; the sleeves on the large may be a little long for me.

That comment was written about a different brand's cotton tee, not this one, so treat it as a general caution rather than a finding on this garment. Our own 30 °C washes produced no obvious change in length or width. For the colourways listed as 100% cotton, cold washing and air drying remains the conservative routine.

What we could not confirm

  • No flat garment measurements are published, so size selection still rests on body-weight bands and a seller reply.
  • The composition of the pure white short-sleeve option is unstated in the catalogue.
  • There is no independent buyer feedback on this exact tee that we could source, so our judgement rests on the unit we received and the listing data.

On our five-point scale this lands at 4.2 / 5 — good, and held back only by the missing flat measurements and the unstated pure-white composition rather than by anything we could see or feel in the garment.

Evidence and limits

How we tested

We requested label, print, hem and flat-lay QC images before shipping and rejected nothing. On arrival the tee was weighed, photographed unworn and worn for three two-hour sessions, then washed twice at 30 °C before a second fit note.

Frequently asked

Will this T-shirt shrink?

The only sourced discussion covers 100% cotton generally and reports more shrinkage with heat or hot drying, and it is not specific to this tee. For the 100% cotton colourways, cold washing and air drying is the conservative routine.

How should I choose a size?

The listing gives body-weight bands in jin plus a 3 cm tolerance instead of flat measurements. Convert the bands to kilograms and ask the seller for chest and length figures in centimetres before you commit.

Is it 100% cotton?

Five colourways are listed as 100% cotton. The pure white short-sleeve option has no composition stated in the catalogue, so confirm it with the seller if fibre content matters to you.

Received insoles are removed for measurement, with calipers used for dimensions and stitch density counted, followed by three indoor and outdoor wear sessions of at least two hours each. Creasing, sole wear and comfort changes are logged and wear photographed, while apparel is washed twice at 30 °C before a second fit and finish note.

For $5.97 the 200g cotton claim is the whole ballgame. I've bought cheap drop shoulder tees before and most of them are like 140g, thin enough that a white one goes see through in daylight. Six colourways in S-3XL is solid range too. My only gripe is nobody listed pit to pit or body length, so I have to guess between my usual L and XL. If the seller posts flat measurements and confirms the white is actually pure white cotton and not a poly blend, I'm in for two.
