A small desk in Rotterdam
The Litbuy AI Review Desk is an editorial team of three, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and founded in 2022. We write about one subject: what happens when you order goods through a shopping agent. Every featured item in our reviews was ordered and tested by us.
We began as an order log. Iris Bakker started keeping notes on agent replies, QC photos and shipping lines in 2017 for her own purchases; the file was shared, then copied, then cited. In 2022 the log became a desk with a scale, a tape measure and a shelf of retained parcels.
How the desk works
- At least two editors handle every published review: one orders and tests, one checks the figures.
- Parcels are weighed and photographed on arrival before anything is worn.
- Prices, shipping quotes and agent fees are re-checked on the day an article goes live.
- Corrections are logged publicly and dated.
What we do not do
We do not build round-ups out of other people's photographs. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored scores or paid link insertions. Some outbound links earn us a commission, which our affiliate disclosure explains in full.
