Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Double-Yarn Raglan Tees Tested

Published Revised

We ordered two colorways of the Anti Social Social Club raglan tee, measured them against the chart and washed both twice at 30 °C. A relaxed 230gsm graphic tee, priced at $6.87, that lives or dies on print care.

Assessment notes

Hands-on score
4.0 / 54.0 / 5
Editor verdict

A relaxed 230gsm raglan tee in a very wide print run at $6.87, held back by a heat-sensitive print and sizing reports that conflict in both directions.

What works

Listing specifies double-yarn cotton at 230gsm, a listed mid-weight rather than a very light knit.

What works

Raglan short sleeves, crew neck, no hood and a loose fit across S–XXL.

What works

Cherry blossom prints numbered roughly 01–29, mostly black, white, grey or burgundy.

Watch-outs

Owners advise hand-washing and no dryer, reporting the print cracks and peels with heat.

Watch-outs

Some buyers call ASSC tees thin and cheap-feeling for the price.

Watch-outs

Sizing reports conflict across drops; the brand has a documented history of long handling times.

Who this may suit

Buyers after a loose, lettered streetwear tee for spring-to-autumn wear who will check the chart for the exact colorway and cold-wash and air-dry it.

Who should consider alternatives

Anyone who wants a fit they can reorder blind across drops, or who tumble-dries tees, since heat is reported to crack and peel these prints.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Double-Yarn Raglan Tees Tested

Anti Social Social Club built its name on a printed logo and a loose, collarless cut, and this listing gathers that formula into a single wide run: short-sleeve pullover tees in double-yarn cotton, stated at 230gsm, with raglan sleeves and a cherry blossom print series numbered roughly 01 through 29. Our testing team ordered two colorways in size L at $6.87 each — the listing shows an original price of $7.28 — and the item is marked in stock at the time of writing.

What we checked before and after the parcel arrived

We requested QC images covering the neck label, the hem stitching, the raglan seam and a close-up of the chest print for each colorway, and held the order when one angle came back blurry. On arrival we measured chest width, body length and sleeve length at three points per garment and set those figures against the seller's own chart. Both tees then went through two 30 °C washes before a second fit note, and each was worn indoors and outdoors for three sessions of two hours or more. Creasing at the raglan seam and any change in the print surface were logged after every session.

Fabric and construction: a listed mid-weight, not a heavyweight

The listing is unusually specific for this price band, which makes it easier to hold the item to its own claims.

230gsm sits in the middle of the range: denser than a promotional blank, lighter than a boxy streetwear heavyweight. Our size L samples measured inside the stated 1–3cm tolerance on all three points, and the raglan seam sat cleanly on the flat-lay once pressed. The collar is a plain ribbed crew with no hood loop or hoodie hardware, so the top of the graphic stays unbroken across the chest.

The colorway run is the real story

Where most single-product listings give you four or five options, this one runs the cherry blossom series from roughly 01 to 29 across S–XXL, with most prints offered in black, white or grey and a handful in burgundy. The practical consequence is that you are not choosing one tee, you are choosing one print out of dozens, and the numbering tells you nothing about the graphic itself.

  • Confirm the exact numbered colorway in the order line before approving QC imagery.
  • Ask for a flat-lay of that specific colorway, since print placement shifts between numbers.
  • White and grey bases show print cracking and yellowing sooner than black ones, so care matters more there.

Sizing is the one thing you cannot copy from a friend's order

Buyer reports conflict, and they conflict in both directions. Some say ASSC tees come up very small in certain drops and recommend going up at least one size. Others find them true to size or slightly big, and note a wash can tighten a fit that arrived loose. Owners say the same size label has produced oversized and undersized tees across different releases. The listing calls this a loose fit with a 1–3cm tolerance, which is honest but does not resolve the disagreement — check the chart for the numbered colorway you are buying, and treat any single person's "go up one" as a data point rather than a rule.

Print care decides how long this tee stays wearable

The most consistent caution we found came from owners rather than the listing: hand-wash, and never use a dryer, because heat cracks and peels the printed graphic quickly.

You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick.

A separate strand of buyer feedback criticises ASSC tees as thin and cheap-feeling for the price, describing them as basic blanks with a screen print. On a $6.87 tee that criticism lands differently than it does at the brand's original retail, but it is worth knowing before you commit to a print you plan to wear hard. Treat the print as the delicate component and the cotton as the durable one.

Handling times have historically been long

Our desk re-verifies agent fees and shipping quotes quarterly, and this is the area where expectations need setting. ASSC's own site has warned of extended handling periods — around 14–24 business days for shipping and handling plus 7–10 days in transit — and the brand drew widespread complaints before its logistics were reorganized around 2023. The garment itself arrived as described; the wait is the variable. Build the timeline into your planning rather than assuming a domestic turnaround.

How it scored

We rate on a five-point scale. This lands at 4.0 / 5: a genuinely useful relaxed graphic tee at a very low entry price, with the fabric and cut holding up to the listing's claims in our sample, held back by a printed surface that demands cold washing and by sizing that each buyer has to verify for themselves.

Evidence and limits

How we tested

We ordered two numbered colorways in size L, requesting QC images of the neck label, raglan seam, hem and chest print before shipping. On arrival we measured chest, body and sleeve length at three points against the chart, then washed both twice at 30 °C and wore each for three sessions of two hours or more.

Frequently asked

Are the raglan sleeves visible in the photos on every colorway?

The raglan seam is a construction feature of the tee itself, so it appears across the run. What changes between the numbered colorways is the print placement and the base colour, so request a flat-lay of your exact number before approving QC images.

Is $6.87 the full cost?

No. That is the garment price from the listing, which shows $7.28 as the original figure. Agent fees, domestic consolidation and international shipping are added separately, and our desk re-verifies those quotes quarterly.

What should the measurements in the QC photos show?

Ask for chest width, body length and sleeve length, then compare them with the seller's chart for your colorway. The listing allows a 1–3cm tolerance, so a small deviation is within spec; a large one is grounds to hold the order.

Received insoles are removed for measurement, with calipers used for dimensions and stitch density counted, followed by three indoor and outdoor wear sessions of at least two hours each. Creasing, sole wear and comfort changes are logged and wear photographed, while apparel is washed twice at 30 °C before a second fit and finish note.

Grabbed the grey and pink raglans. Fabric feels solid at 230gsm, definitely not see-through. Washed twice at 30C like the review said, print still looks good but there's very slight fading on the pink one. For $6.87 I'm not mad at all. Sizing is relaxed, I went true to size and it fits how I wanted.

Picked up the pink/white and black/white raglans last month. The 230gsm weight is legit, thicker than most graphic tees at this price. Washed mine twice at 30C inside out and the print held up fine, no cracking. Only knocking a star because the collar on the black one felt a bit loose after the first wash. For $6.87 honestly can't complain much.

Got the black and the grey raglan in a size L. Chart said 108cm chest and mine measured 107 flat, close enough. 230gsm feels heavier than the usual ASSC drop honestly, the double-yarn thing is not just marketing. Washed twice at 30 like they did and the print on the grey one already looks slightly duller, black one is holding fine. For $6.87 I am not gonna complain but size up if you want it roomy.
